"Jnr. Jam" was developed by Brian Vaughns former professional basketball player, who started his career in 1987 with the Milwaukee Bucks ( NBA ) and finished up playing in 1999 in Switzerland with Club Neuchatel. During this time Brian travelled to and played in many countries around the world including Greece, Germany, Argentina, Australia, Mexico, China and Singapore just to name a few.

Brian has since embarked on coaching and lending his skillful knowledge of the game to players all over Australia. Brian began his coaching career in 1999 at St. Michael's Grammar St. Kilda, Vic where he became the Head Basketball Coach for the senior school teaching the game to all students from grade 7 thru to grade 12. As a testament to his coaching Brian still holds that position today.

Brian is well sought after for his expertise in the game, he is now also the Head Basketball Coach at Camp Australia which is the largest holiday camp program in Australia. Brian has helped develop and shape a new path to the way players are learning the game in school camps.

Brian is the Director of Coaching at Doncaster Basketball Club Doncaster, Victoria. He has helped turn around the championship program. The majority of the teams that represent Doncaster are in the upper echelon of their respective divisions which shows a committment to achieve success.

If you think that was it, guess again. Brian is one of the best basketball minds to ever coach in the junior ranks of Australia he is so sought after that he is also the Specialist Basketball Development Coach at Marybirnong Sports College in Victoria.
It is quite clear that to hold down as many positions at one time based on your knowledge of the game clearly speaks for itself.

Brian has coached several players from the junior ranks and have taken them to the next level of basketball stardom! One such player is Tom Greer of the Melbourne Tigers ( NBL ). Brian started coaching Tom in 2001 - 2002 and in that time period Tom embraced the knowledge being taught and earned a scholarship to play basketball in America. Tom then came back to Australia and signed a contract with the Melbourne Tigers who won the 2006 Championship, fulfilling a life long dream.
